These terms are a binding agreement between you and Ibrahim Chiha, the individual who operates identro ("identro", "we", "us"). They govern your use of the identro iOS app, the identro.app website, and related services. By creating an account or using identro you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use identro.

Who may use identro

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for your Apple ID, your account, and everything done through it. Keep your device and sign-in secure.

The service

identro lets you create digital business cards, share them by QR code, link, and Apple Wallet pass, exchange contact details with people you meet, and keep those contacts up to date. Features may change, improve, or be discontinued over time.

Your content and the licence you give us

You keep all rights to the content you add to identro, including your name, photo, and contact details. To run the service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, resize, and display that content, and to generate the card pages, QR codes, vCards, and Apple Wallet passes you ask for, and to show it to the people you choose to share it with. This licence lasts only as long as you keep the content on identro and ends when you delete it or your account, except for copies already shared with others or retained in routine backups for a limited period.

You represent that you own or have permission to use everything you upload, that it is accurate, and that it does not break the law or infringe anyone's rights. Cards must represent you or a person or organisation that has authorised you.

Subscription and billing

• identro Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID: $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year, each after a 14-day free trial. Prices in other currencies are set by Apple for your region.
• Your subscription renews automatically at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged within 24 hours before each renewal. Manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings.
• All purchases are handled by Apple and are final. We do not take payments directly and cannot issue refunds; refund requests are decided by Apple under App Store policy, and by your local law where it grants you a right to one.
• When your trial ends without converting, or your subscription lapses, the two cards included in the free tier — your two oldest — stay live. Your remaining cards are paused: their public pages, QR codes, and Wallet passes stop resolving until you resubscribe. Your data is kept, not deleted, so everything returns if you resubscribe.
• We may change prices or what the subscription includes. Existing subscribers are given advance notice, and a price increase takes effect only after your affirmative consent where Apple or the law requires it.

Contacts and exchanges

When someone shares their details with you through the exchange form, or you add another identro card as a connection, identro acts only as the conduit that passes that information to you. We are not a party to what people choose to share, and we do not verify it. You are responsible for how you use contact details others give you, including under any privacy or marketing rules that apply to you. People may stop sharing at any time by deleting their card, and you must respect that. The exchange form may be used only to share your own details.

Acceptable use

Do not use identro to impersonate others, to send spam, to post unlawful, harmful, or infringing content, or to harvest or scrape other users' contact data. Do not probe, reverse engineer, overload, or interfere with the service or its security, and do not use it to break any law that applies to you. We may suspend or remove accounts, cards, or content that breach these terms or that we reasonably believe put others or the service at risk.

Intellectual property

The identro name, app, website, and design are ours and are protected by law. These terms do not give you any right to them beyond using the service as intended. If you send us feedback or ideas, you allow us to use them without obligation to you.

Third parties

identro relies on and links to services we do not control, including Apple and the social platforms your handles point to. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

Disclaimers

identro is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any contact details on identro are accurate or current, since that information is provided by users, not us. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business, arising from your use of identro. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or twenty US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your content, your use of identro, or your breach of these terms or of anyone's rights.

Termination

You can delete your account and its data at any time in the app. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or to protect the service or others. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including content licences already granted to others, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity, continue to apply.

Apple App Store

The following applies because you obtained identro through the Apple App Store. This agreement is between you and us only, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for identro or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for identro; that responsibility is ours. If identro fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price, and to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim that identro or your use of it infringes intellectual property rights, fails to meet legal requirements, or is covered by product-liability or consumer-protection law. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as terrorist supporting, and that you are not on any US Government restricted-parties list. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of identro must also comply with the App Store Terms of Service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be subject to the courts of the United Arab Emirates. This does not remove any protection that the mandatory consumer law of your own country gives you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as identro evolves or the law changes. When we make a material change we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use identro after a change means you accept the updated terms.

General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer these terms; we may transfer them to a successor of the identro business. These terms, together with our privacy policy, are the entire agreement between us about identro.
